Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 6, 2026
This page covers two separate things: the terms for using this website, and a starting point for the terms that would govern actual production work booked with Milo M, trading name of Waterboy Club (KVK 80465064). The second part is a template, not legal advice; have it checked before you rely on it for paid client work.
Using this website
- All portfolio content on this site (video excerpts, stills, project descriptions) is shown for the purpose of demonstrating past work and remains the property of Milo M and/or the credited clients, unless stated otherwise.
- Do not reproduce, redistribute, or use any video, image, or written content from this site without permission.
- This site is provided "as is." While every effort is made to keep it accurate and available, no guarantee is made that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Working together (project terms template)
[The clauses below are placeholders to adapt to how you actually work. Replace the bracketed parts, or remove any clause that doesn't apply, before sending this to a client.]
- Scope: Work is carried out according to a scope agreed in writing (quote, proposal, or email confirmation) before a project begins. Changes to that scope may affect price and timeline.
- Payment: 50% deposit to confirm the booking, balance due on delivery, payment due within 30 days of invoice.
- Cancellation: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the shoot date are eligible for a refund of the deposit, less any costs already committed on the client's behalf (crew holds, equipment, locations). Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the shoot date forfeit the deposit in full.
- Usage rights: Usage rights are agreed per project and set out in that project's quote or contract, since they vary by client and shoot. Where not otherwise agreed in writing, Milo retains the right to include the work in his own portfolio and reel.
- Credit: Whether an on-screen or caption credit as director/producer is included is agreed per project.
- Liability: [A liability cap appropriate to your insurance and business structure - this needs an actual review (e.g. with an accountant, insurer, or lawyer), not a guess. Left blank on purpose rather than making up a number.]
